Australia Day Nominations
Be quick! Nominations for the 2022 Australia Day awards are now open. Three award categories are available in each of the five local areas. This year, we’ve made it easier for residents to nominate a noteworthy citizen or community group. Nominations can now be submitted through the simplified online form. But there’s not long left! Nominations close 5pm on Friday, 3 December.

Notice of Intention to Sell Land
Council gives notice under section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act) of its intention to sell by private treaty the following parcels of land (the Land):
- Lot 4 on PS724007Y, comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 12001 Folio 879 known as 9 Kuhle Road, Kyabram, to Leigh Craig Morris and Crystal Fiona Morris as Trustee for the LC and CF Morris Superannuation Fund for a total of $66,000.00 (GST inclusive).

- Lot 7 on PS724007Y, comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 12001 Folio 882 known as 15 Kuhle Road, Kyabram, to Jordan Florance of Permission to Build Pty Ltd for a total of $66,000.00 (GST inclusive).
The proposed sales will be subject to contractual terms satisfactory to Council.
Any person may make a submission on the proposals to sell the Land. Any person wishing to make a submission can do so in writing by Friday, 10 December 2021. All submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 114 of the Act. Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell the Land, part of the Land or not to sell the Land.
Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and can be delivered to Council’s Civic Centre at 2 Heygarth Street, Echuca, emailed to [email protected] or posted to Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca, 3564.
Submissions received on the proposed sale of the Land may be included in the Council Agenda and Minutes published on Council’s website, including the personal information of the submitter. Please indicate in your submission if you do not wish your personal information to be identified in the Agenda and Minutes.
Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or its committee established by Council for this purpose) or represented by a person acting on his or her behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.

Council Service Restrictions
In line with new State Government directions, entry changes have been implemented at select Campaspe Shire Council services. You must now be double vaccinated (or otherwise medically exempt) to visit Council library branches, Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre, Port of Echuca Discovery Centre and Echuca Paddlesteamers. You will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status upon entry. For dual customer service and library service centres in Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala, staff will assist with the level of check-in required, dependent on what services are being accessed.

The new barbeque shelter at Apex Park in Echuca is now completed.
