Rushworth & District Aged Care Services Expo

Campaspe Shire Council, alongside Goulburn Valley (GV) Health and the Rushworth Community House, are proud to host the upcoming Rushworth & District Aged Care Services Expo, an opportunity to discover and connect with a wide range of local aged care services.

The expo is set to take place on Thursday, 10 April between 10:30am- 2:30pm at the Rushworth Shire Hall, offering a range of exhibitors, including aged care providers, healthcare professionals, and community organisations, all dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our seniors.

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Daniel Mackrell said this would be a great opportunity for senior community members to find out more and connect with local service providers. “People will have the opportunity to explore various options in relation to residential care and housing, learn about My Aged Care and participate in informative sessions.

“Attendees will not want to miss the Crime Stoppers presentation at 12pm, as they provide key online safety tips and strategies to protect yourself from scams,” Cr Mackrell said.

The expo contributes towards outcomes as part of Rushworth’s Place Based Plan endorsed by Council in July 2024, which committed to supporting Rushworth’s older residents in enhancing their lifestyle through “inclusion, connectivity, accessibility, services, programs, events and support”.

Over 25 stallholders will be present at the expo, providing advice and information on a wide range of topics vital to wellbeing later in life, including around secure housing, information on residential care, as well as health and support services available to older individuals.
