Spring into fun at the library! Enjoy the beautiful weather and engage in a variety of exciting activities this spring school holidays. Campaspe Libraries, along with Colbinabbin, Lockington and Stanhope Library Depots, will be buzzing with events for everyone.

From footy fun in time for the Grand Final, to enjoying family pizza and movie time, there’s something for all. Get creative with Lego, enjoy interactive games, and celebrate the season with sand games and decorating beachballs ready for summer! We’re offering a range of activities that cater to different ages and interests, ensuring that children and families have a delightful time while exploring and learning.

Bookings are essential as places are limited and can be made online, in person or by phoning 5481 2400. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact the library. Children need to be accompanied by an adult or carer during all activities.

Activities

  • Beach Balls (Ages 5+) - The weather will start to warm up soon! Decorate a beach ball to play in the pool or at the beach.
  • Baby Rhymetime - For babies up to 18 months
  • Bunnings Craft (Ages 5+) - Always a great session with thanks to the team from Bunnings Echuca. Making terracotta garden lights.
  • CJ’s Puppets – (All ages) - Catchy lyrics, audience interaction, and quick to learn dance moves are all combined to make this exploration of the world of music both an informative and very entertaining experience.
  • Coaster Sets (Ages 5+) - Decorate a set of 6 coasters and assemble a holder for them.
  • Dog Lead Hanger (Ages 5+) - Create this cute Leash Holder to be the envy of other pet owners!
  • Floating Earth (Ages 5+) -Watch the world float by with this fun, gravity defying craft activity!
  • Foil Art (Ages 5+) - Decorate a supplied mandala using brightly coloured foil
  • Footy Friends (Ages 5+) - Decorate a football player to become your footy mascot.
  • Footy Fun (Ages 5+) - Decorate your teams footy jumpers and play some footy games
  • Leaf Insects (Ages 5+) - Use the wonders of nature to create an insect using leaves.
  • LEGO & Games – (All Ages) - Choose a game to play or build an amazing LEGO® structure. Free play.
  • Matchbox Bugs (Ages 7+) - Create a bug and design a matchbox home to carry it in.
  • Pizza & Movie – (All ages) - Family fun in the library with pizza, and a movie. Pizza available at $5 per head (adults included). Please book at Echuca Library and indicate your favourite pizza. (Internet booking not available.)
  • Sand Art (Ages 5+) - Brightly coloured sands are used to create a picture. Lots of different outlines to choose from.
  • Storytime - For preschool aged children
  • Toddler Rhymetime - For children aged up to 3 years
