Winter fun at Campaspe Libraries!

Come on down to the library where you can stay warm and dry while having lots of fun this winter school holidays! There are many fun, free activities planned across all of the Campaspe Libraries, as well as Stanhope and Lockington.
From pizza and movies, Lego and games to special NAIDOC Week activities such as decorating indigenous designed serpents and making turtles out of yarn! There are plenty of activities for all ages and interests that will provide children and families with plenty to do whilst learning and being creative.
Activities are free but bookings are essential as places are limited and can be made online, in person or by phoning 5481 2400. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact the library. Children need to be accompanied by an adult or carer during all activities.

- BYO old garment, pillowcase or piece of fabric in need of a refresh. Block printing is a tactile printing technique that allows you to quickly embellish and personalise fabric.

- Baby Rhymetime - For babies up to 18 months
- Bead Leg Bears - Ages 5+ Make this un-bear-lieveably cute decoration to display or play with.
- Bollywood Dancing - Ages 5+ Join our visitor Rima, from India, to learn some beautiful Bollywood dance moves.
- Box Craft Construction - Ages 5+ What can you make with some cardboard boxes and masking tape?
- Bracelet Beading Ages - 5+ Create a colourful beaded bracelet which you can keep or gift to a loved one.
- Clay Pots - Ages 5+ Using air-dry clay, create and decorate a dish for holding your treasures or to gift to someone special.
- Felt Cup Warmers - Ages 7+ Learn and use basic sewing skills to make your own cup warmer for the chillier mornings.
- Glass Pebble Magnets - Ages 5+ Decorate glass pebbles and turn them into magnets to display your special notes and achievements on the fridge.
- Guitar Painting - Ages 5+ *$5 Celebrate the Winter Blues Weekend by coming along to paint and decorate your own blues guitar. $5 for one guitar, goes towards the festival.
- LEGO & Games - All ages Choose a game to play or build an amazing LEGO® structure. Free play.
- Library Teen Take Over Ages 12 to 18 Join Kane for a PJ Party & Movie
- Make a Jigsaw - Ages 5+ Design and paint your very own jigsaw puzzle to keep for yourself or challenge friends or family members to complete.
- Money Box - Ages 5+ Your own decorated money box for keeping your pocket money.
- NAIDOC activity - Ages 5+ Join us to celebrate and acknowledge NAIDOC Week with exciting craft.

- Colour Australia - A wooden indigenous design to create.
- Yarn Turtle - A fun turtle to colour & weave.
- Pizza & Movie - All ages Family fun in the library with pizza, games & board games. Pizza available at $5 per head (adults included). Please book at Echuca Library and indicate your favourite pizza. (Internet booking not available.)
- Pebble Magnets - Ages 5+ - Decorate glass pebbles and turn them into magnets to display your special notes and achievements on the fridge.
- Storytime - For preschool aged children Toddler Rhymetime - For children aged up to 3 years.
- Wooden Clocks - Ages 5+ - A wooden clock kit is ready to be decorated, assembled and displayed. You will need to supply your own AA battery.
- Wooden Weaving Frames - Ages 5+ A relaxing and calm activity using different coloured strands of yarn to weave to make ornaments, door hangers, a gift or hang from a mobile.
