River Voices Choir

River Voices is a mixed voice adult choir of approximately 25 members. We share in the joy of singing and bringing music to the wider community. The choir is committed to achieving a high standard of performance across a broad range of repertoire and  promoting the development of musical excellence in our community.

The choir participates in community events such as ANZAC Day services, nursing home visits and Christmas caroling, as well as putting on an annual concert. River Voices has performed in concerts alongside the Victorian Male Welsh Choir and Melbourne choirs Southern Voices and Excelsis. Each year we like to participate in, or host, a choral workshop in our local area.

Our director is Delena Gaffney. We are an incorporated association run by a committee of management. We are not-for-profit and fees go to covering our costs.
Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons in the Uniting Church chapel. The time varies depending on the time of year; usually 2-4 pm in terms 2 and 3 and 5-7 pm in terms 1 and 4.

Currently our two children's singing groups are in recess, as they are without a leader.
