Passionate about performing opera in rural Victoria, Opera in the Country returns for a second performance, this time gracing the stage of the historical Girgarre Town Hall. The night will feature the exquisite vocals of four emerging opera singers Olive Cullen, Johnny De Simone, Charlotte Goode and Matthew Duffy as well as the exceptional pianism of Ronan Apcar.

Opera in the Country is a project passionate about communities in rural Victoria having the opportunity to experience opera performances in their home towns! Country people have limited access to opera, however, Opera in the Country aims to change this.

Opera in the Country values performing financially accessible concerts for country patrons. Each concert celebrates the uniqueness of the rural community it is performed at and promotes the art form of opera to the locality.
