Toolleen Olive Tree Care Workshop

Join accredited chainsaw trainer Ceilidh Meo for instruction in the safe use and maintenance of chainsaws for absolute beginners!

This workshop aims to familiarise users with their chainsaws and the various features and best practice uses. After breaking for lunch, we will then cover how olive trees grow and how to apply your new chainsaw skills to pruning them for increased productivity and ease of grove management.

The Chainsaw session runs from 10am-12 noon, and the Olive Growth and Pruning session runs from 1-3pm. Attendees at either or both sessions are invited to join us for lunch from 12-1pm (included).

These workshops are subsidised by the Campaspe Shire Council Flood Recovery Fund, and presented with the assistance of the Long Road Olive Co-operative, the Australian Olive Association and Apulia Grove Olives.
