The Wilf Cox Pavilion is in sound structural condition but has non-compliant components such as disability access, internal toilets, no netball changerooms and football changing facilities that are not female-friendly.

The building also requires new flooring, tiling, kitchen and painting. This project will upgrade the current pavilion to ensure it meets Australian building and accessibility standards, and provide suitable facilities for users of all genders and abilities.

Works to date

Preliminary design is completed along with a Building Surveyor Report on these designs. Further to the review, minor upgrades to the detailed designs are underway to meet all Australian Standards.

An Environmental Report on the existing trees to the western side of the pavilion is being completed and will be forwarded to Campaspe Planning for appropriate action and approvals.

Current phase: Detailed design

During the next few months, detailed Design / Drawings will be completed and a Tender set of designs and drawings with all specifications will be issued for Public Tender.
