Community Grants

Round two of the Campaspe Shire Council Community Grants Program is now open, providing financial support to the Shire’s not for profit sector to deliver a range of initiatives that will improve the lives of people within the community.

General Manager Community, Keith Oberin said $75,000 is available to support community groups, clubs and associations with a broad range of projects that benefit the wider community.

“A maximum of $4,000 can be applied for to support the delivery of programs, projects and activities that encourage local residents to become more involved in their community.” Mr Oberin said.

Applications will be assessed against set criteria.

“Funding recommendations will be based on the outcome to each initiative in terms of improving the quality of life for our residents, making our shire more vibrant and stimulating,” Mr Oberin said.

Applications close Friday, 18 September. Application guidelines and link to applying is available on Council’s website click here.

Groups needing support through the application process are encouraged to speak with Bobbi Aitken, Executive Assistant, Community, 5481 2206.

Applications recommended for approval will be considered at the 17 November council meeting.
