Tenders

C23066 – Campaspe Shire, Flood Recovery – Resheeting Program

Tenders are invited for the repair of Council assets including gravel road resheeting, gravel road grading, sealed road should resheeting and sealed road shoulder grading. A copy of the documents can be downloaded om Council’s website. Tenders must be submitted via the eProcure portal no later than 2pm (AEDST) on 16 November. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Draft Echuca Moama Flood Study Report open for comment

The draft Echuca Moama Flood Study Report is the first part of the Echuca Moama Torrumbarry Flood Study and Risk Management Plan Project. It has been prepared to better understand flood behaviour of the Murray, Campaspe and Goulburn River systems and their impact on the Echuca-Moama area. Campaspe Shire and Murray River Councils are jointly seeking your comments on the draft report and associated flood mapping. Feedback can be provided in person, online or via email.

You can also attend one of the drop-in sessions where you can seek further information on the draft report and mapping via a presentation from the project officers.

  • Thursday 9 November: 10am – 12 noon and 2pm – 4pm at Murray River Council Offices, Perricoota Road, Moama.
  • Thursday 9 November: 5.30 – 7pm at Campaspe Shire Council Offices, 2 Heygarth Street, Echuca. 

Expressions of Interest – Audit & Risk Committee

Expressions of Interest are sought for a suitably qualified person to participate as an independent member of Council’s Audit & Risk Committee, which is a committee of Council that provides independent and objective advice on matters relating to financial and performance reporting, governance, risk, internal controls and accounting disclosures.  The Committee meets a maximum of five times per annum. Criteria for appointment is experience and/or qualifications in at least one of the following areas: accounting, auditing, risk management, governance or public sector executive management.  Independent members are appointed to the committee for a term of up to 4 years (however can be a shorter period of time) and receive an allowance for their services. Expressions of Interest should detail the background of the applicant and must be in writing, addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca Vic 3564, or alternatively emailed to [email protected] by 5pm Friday 10 November.  A selection panel will interview applicants prior to making any recommendation for appointment to Council. Copies of the Audit and Risk Committee Charter and answers to enquiries may be obtained by contacting Matthew McPherson, Director Corporate on 5481 2200 during office hours.

Business Training Workshops

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is delivering two free business training workshops on Wednesday, 15 November as part of Flood Recovery support.
