Business awards
Every two years, local businesses are recognised through the Campaspe Murray Business Awards.
The awards celebrate and acknowledge the work of businesses and individuals who have achieved excellence in their industry across the Campaspe Shire and Murray River Council.
The Campaspe Murray Business Awards are running again in 2024. The Campaspe Murray Business Awards will be announced at the Gala Awards Presentation Dinner on Wednesday, 30 October.

There are several award categories, covering the many different industries contributing to Campaspe’s healthy local economy. They include gongs for both businesses and individuals.
For businesses
The business award categories include:
- Business of the Year
- Best Agri-business
- Best Home-based Business
- Best New Business
- Best Retail Business
- Best Professional Service – Community
- Best Professional Service
- Excellence in Hospitality
- Excellence in Manufacturing and Trade
- Excellence in Tourism
New catergories for 2024
This year there are three new categories which include:
- Excellence in Marketing
- Excellence in Health and Wellbeing
- Community Impact
For individuals
Individuals are also recognised at the biennial Campaspe Murray Business Awards in the following categories:
- Employee of the Year
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year
People's Choice Award
This category allows the public to vote for their favourite business.
