The students are completing a design and feasibility study of the Bridge to Bridge concept of the Echuca Murray River frontage between the two Murray River Bridges (2023-24). As part of their project, the students are currently undertaking a survey to connect with and understand the feelings of the community in order to produce a meaningful outcome for our bridge-to-bridge design project. Storm Generated Green Waste

Due to the recent storms, there have been many trees damaged and branches fallen across our shire. Our Works and Trees Crews are working their way through customer requests to get these cleaned up and removed as quickly as possible. We are actioning the most urgent priorities first, but it will take some weeks to complete them all.

If you have green waste on your property as a result of storm damage, it will be accepted free of charge from Friday, 5 January until Sunday, 21 January 24 at the Echuca, Mt Scobie, Rushworth and Gunbower Resource Recovery Centres.

For opening hours and locations visit our website.

Storm generated green waste includes branches and trees (not lawn clippings) and the usual limitations to the size of green waste will not apply for the free storm green waste.

For any enquiries or if you notice any street trees that require attention, please lodge a request on our website or call 1300 666 535.
