Council meetings are normally open to the public – please refer to our website to see if COVID restrictions still apply. The meeting can be viewed via live streaming on Council’s website, www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/livestreaming

Service update

Customer service centres and library branches re-opened to the community from Monday, 1 June. In line with government directions, restrictions are in place limiting the number of people in each facility, recording of names on entry, as well as social distancing.

Other service updates include:

  • Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre – open from Wednesday, 1 July
  • Playgrounds, skateparks, outdoor gym equipment – open with a limit of no more than 20 people
  • Port of Echuca Discovery Centre & Echuca Paddlesteamers – open from Friday, 5 June. Initially for four days (Friday to Monday), then continuing four days per week moving to Thursday to Sunday.

COVID financial support

Financial support options to assist ratepayers, residents, businesses and community groups in response to the coronavirus pandemic are available on Council’s website via dedicated webpage www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/covidfinance  

Roads for harvest

Council is inviting large agricultural producers to provide comment on what gravel and earth roads they plan to utilise in advance of this season’s harvest. Feedback forms are available on Council’s website under the ‘Open for comment’ section and can be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, 12 June.

Echuca Moama Torrumbarry Flood Study

Residents are invited to provide feedback on the final flood modelling developed as part of the Echuca Moama Torrumbarry Flood Study. Further details and interactive flood modelling are available on Council’s website. Comments close Friday, 19 June.

Tender 20017

Annual clearance of vegetation from powerlines – Echuca, Kyabram & Rochester
Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the clearance of vegetation from powerlines in the areas of Echuca, Kyabram and Rochester. A copy of the specifications can be downloaded from Council’s website. Tenders close 2pm, 17 June.

2021 Kindergarten registrations

Registrations are now open for three and four year old funded kindergarten programs at Echuca Central, Echuca East, Echuca South, Colbinabbin, Rochester, Lockington, Tongala, Gunbower, Stanhope, Berrimba, Pink & Blue and Goodstart Early Learning. Online applications are available on Council’s website. Hard copy applications can be accessed by downloading from the website or by calling 1300 666 535. Applications for first round offers close Friday, 31 July.
