Impounded livestock

Council has impounded a black and white female Friesian Cow under the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994, on 26 October on Gray Road, Kyabram. The cow is being held at the Echuca and District Livestock Exchange, McKenzie Road, Echuca. If not claimed after eight days, it will be disposed of. All enquiries to Ranger, Anthony on 0407 844 875.

Works notice

Repair works to the concrete retaining wall on Watson Street, Echuca (from Crofton Street to the parking bays near Law Court Place) is planned to take place on Wednesday, 18 November. The works will require a lane closure and will restrict traffic to one way flow. Works are scheduled to be completed within the day.

Tender documents can be downloaded from Council’s website. Council is seeking the services of qualified and experienced contractors for the following tenders:

20045 – Rushworth, High Street Streetscape Renewal
Civil and landscape works along High Street Rushworth, between Moora Road and Wigg Street.  Tender closes 2pm, 12 November.

20047 – Kyabram, South Boundary Road Shared Path Renewal
Renewal of approximately 2,000 linear metres of asphalt shared path on the north side of South Boundary Road, Kyabram. Tender closes 2pm, 9 November.

20048 – Shire Footpath Renewal Program 2020/21
Renewal of footpaths and associated works in Kyabram, Tongala and Echuca. Tender closes 2pm, 17 November.

20049 – Bridge Barrier Renewal Program
Construction of bridge and approach barriers to three Council bridges. Tender closes 2pm, 26 November.

20050 – Shire DDA Works Program 2020/21
Construct upgraded sections of footpaths and car parking areas throughout the shire. Tender closes 2pm, 20 November.

20051 – Lease of Farmland, Lots 1 and 2 Mary Ann Road, Echuca and Part 510 McKenzie Road, Echuca
Council invites expressions of interest to lease two parcels of land at Mary Ann Road, Echuca (approximately 42.93 hectares) and McKenzie Road, Echuca (approximately 40.29 hectares). The properties are suitable for cropping and grazing purposes. The lease term will be for 3 years with no option for extension.  EOI closes 2pm, 27 November.

20053 – Shire Footpath New and Upgrade Program 2020/21
Design and construction of footpaths to the current IDM standards and DDA requirements. Tender closes 2pm, 26 November.
