Businesses in Campaspe have the choice of an 80-litre, 140-litre or 240-litre waste bin serviced weekly (charges apply for multiple bins).

• one or more 240-litre or 360-litre recycling bin (yellow lid) serviced fortnightly, and
• one or more 240-litre food and garden bins (green lid) serviced fortnightly.

Checklist for kerbside bin collections

1. Place bins at least 50cm apart to enable automatic pickup.
2. Make sure trees, poles or parked cars don’t obstruct bin collection.
3. If your business is in a rural area, make sure your rural road number is clearly displayed so the collection contractor can identify your property.
4. If your business is at the end of a court, place your bins at the straight part of the road. Trucks can’t manoeuvre to collect bins at the end of a court. 

Commercial & industrial waste

Waste created by some businesses can’t always be disposed of in a bin and you may need to take it to a resource recovery centre.

• Soil (clean fill), concrete, masonry, rubble and household demolition waste are accepted in residential quantities only (under 1m³).
• All other materials are accepted in residential quantities only (under 3m³).
• Industrial waste is not accepted at any of the resource recovery centres.
• Commercial waste operators are not accepted at any of the resource recovery centres.

If you have waste exceeding 3m³ to dispose of, take it to a regional landfill. The closest regional landfills are:
