Free mulch!

Garden mulch is available free of charge at Council’s Colbinabbin, Echuca, Mt Scobie, Lockington, Rushworth and Rochester Resource Recovery Centres. While stocks last.

The mulch that is provided free of charge from resource recovery centres comes from green waste that is deposited at the resource recovery centres and is shredded on site (normally a few times per year). While Council and its contractors make every effort to remove the contamination that is visible, we are unable to remove everything and primarily relay on the residents dropping off the green waste to ensure it is not contaminated
