What happens to your food waste?
All food waste collected at these resource recovery centres are sent to Biomix (Council’s contracted reprocessor), to be composted. The service aims to reduce the amount of food waste ending up in the red bin and ultimately landfill. If you don't have a green bin, please use the food waste drop off bins in Echuca and Kyabram (Mt Scobie).
